Proactive Solutions Vs Acne Free Clear Skin Treatment

I'm a 20 something who suffers from mild to moderate adult acne. All mine is in my T-zone. While I used facial cleansers nothing really seemed to help. I decided to give "Proactiv Solutions" a try one day. I was so excited when I got my introductory 3 step kit in the mail. I tried it and my acne really did clear up after only 3 days. It made my face feel smooth and soft. What they don't tell you or only briefly mention in the commercials... whether you want to or not your put in a club that they automatically send you your kit every 6 weeks (unless you change the frequency of deliveries or you have to actually call to cancel). Also the cheapest kit after you're 1 time introductory kit is $39.95.

PROs: Really did work to clear up my mild to moderate T-zone adult acne. Easy to use and didn't irritate my skin.

CONs: Put into a club automatically. Have to call to cancel, can't do it online. Pricey.

Now for "AcneFree Clear Skin Treatment". After trying proactive and realizing my budget would not allow me to use proactve as I'd like to I found Acnefree at a local store. Only $19.95 for a 3 step claiming to be better than proactive. So I tried it. Textures of items and size of bottles seemed similar to proactive. After using it for a week I still had acne in my T-zone. It also did not make my face feel as smooth. To me, my face almost seemed tacky after using it.

PROs: much more affordable than Proactiv. No clubs, just go to the store (or order online) when you need it.

CONs: Does not work as well as Proactive in my opinion.

I guess for me I'll just keep using proactive until something else comes along for me to try. Until then I'll just decrease my frequency of deliveries and hope for something more affordable.
