Before I begin the overall review I first want to disclose that I have light green eyes. Comparable to army camouflage, my green eyes change sometimes from dark green to light green. For the most part though, my eyes are a very pale green. I know that some people consider green eyes to die for, but me... I have always longed for blue eyes. Blue like a sky or a sea. Instead I have moss green.
Since my early teens I have played around with many different contact lens manufacturers. I've had lenses in blue, amber, violet, and hazel...but these lenses were never good enough. I could either see this odd pixelation look, or I could see where the contact layed over my eyes real color. To put it short...I have always managed to get sucky contacts.
Finally I decided to go into an eye doctor to try lenses on before buying them. I found that ordering contacts online never worked wonders for me, and I never got the results that they promised on sites.
I tried a few lenses on and finally was given a pair of Illusions Opaques Contact Lens by CIBA VISION, in the color Soft Blue.
Now let me splain' this to yah folks out there who are confused by the coloring of Illusion Opaques. It can't be any easier. Soft colors are made for those with light eyes. Dark colors are made for those with dark eyes! Now if you have brown eyes, you may want to purchase or try Dark Blue, instead of Soft Blue.
Anyhow, I placed Illusions Opaques Contact Lens by CIBA VISION- Soft Blue into my eyes and when I took a look into the mirror I was mesmerized by what I saw.
A tropical paradise looking back at me, so gorgeous and blue that I swear a dolphin would want to make it its home.
My eyes were, simply put...gorgeous.
My green eyes were transformed into not any old ordinary sky blue, but my eye color had depth, with a ring of sea blue around the rim, and a lighter turquoise green color that resembled not my ordinary green eyes, but a glowing lagoon you would normally find on secluded tropical islands.
Yes ladies and gents, my eyes seriously looked as if they were glowing. They went from being a dull colored pale green to a glowing sea of blue and turquoise.
