Wall-E is Disney Pixar's newest animated film. Wall-E (which stands for (Waste Allocation Load Lifter- Earth Class) is an endearing robot that looks like a cross between Number 5 from Short Circuit and the Binoculars from Toy Story. Wall-E's job, with his rusty caterpillars and front end loader, is, well, trash clean-up on earth 700 years in the future. Wall-E is lonely in this sleek cyber world. All Wall-E's fellow bots are named as acronyms for the work they do. Curiously, their names also form clever anagrams the robots functions.
EVE (Extra-terrestrial Vegetation Evaluator) who's a hot little high tech probe droid (and kind of cute!)
M-O (Microbe Eliminator) a fussy roller-ball robot whose job is to clean everything!
VN-GO (pronounced 'Van Gogh'; Guess what his job is? You got it! Painting and decorating.
