Free agent defensive lineman Darrion Scott pleaded guilty to child endangerment charges on Monday. He was charged with putting a plastic bag over his 2-year-old son's head. The former Minnesota Viking will be sentenced on July 24.

Seattle Seahawks linebacker Lofa Tatupu will serve 1 day in jail and pay roughly $1,200 in fines after pleading guilty to DUI on Monday. The 25-year-old was arrested May 10 and his blood
alcohol was reportedly twice the legal limit.

Ex-Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick, who is currently incarcerated for running a dog fighting operation, filed for bankruptcy. In the paperwork filed Monday, Vick claimed to have assets worth less than $50 million and debt ranging from $10 million to $50 million. The seven largest creditors named in the bankruptcy are said to be owed a combined $12.8 million.

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed rookie tackle Tony Hills to a three year contract. Hills was drafted in the fourth round of April's draft. The team also agreed to terms with fifth round pick Dennis Dixon and third round pick Bruce Davis.

The Cincinnati Bengals cut defensive tackle Titus Adams. He spent time on the team's practice squad last season. The team also waived defensive tackle Michael Marquardt and cornerback Jerrid Gaines.

Former San Diego Chargers linebacker Steve Foley would receive $5.5 million in exchange for settling his lawsuit against a police officer who ended his career by shooting him in 2006. Foley was shot in the hip, leg and hand.

The New York Jets waived wide receiver Ashlan Davis, defensive back Kenny Patton and running back Justin Valentine. All three were signed earlier this year.

The New Orleans Saints named Brian Adams as their new assistant director of college scouting. He has spent the past seven seasons with the Carolina Panthers as a scout.
