There are several great and easy holiday decorations that you can make with your kids.  Kids love to make these easy holiday decorations and the supplies are very inexpensive.  Some of these easy holiday decorations can be made in just a few minutes and some with keep your kids busy for hours.  When working on these easy holiday decorations, put in a nice holiday movie for the kids to watch; this will make the day even more enjoyable.

Paper Ornaments:  These easy holiday decorations are great for all ages of kids.  To start these easy holiday decorations, cut out several circles of white construction paper; to make this easier, use a round object and trace a circle onto the paper.  Once you have cut out enough circles for your kids to decorate, pick out the supplies you would like to use.  You can use glue and glitter, crayons and markers, or even glue and strips of colorful foil.  Let the kids decorate their ornaments the way they want to.  The kids could make shapes using the glue and then cover the glue with the glitter.  They could even make colorful stripes using markers and crayons.  Once the ornaments are decorated, punch a hole into the top of each one, using a hole puncher.  Next, run a piece of ribbon through the hole and tie the ends together, creating a loop; this will be the “hook” so the ornament stays on the tree.  These easy holiday decorations will be something you’ll treasure long after your kids are grown.
