At first glance, you might think that the small Houston suburb of Seabrook has nothing to offer in the way of nightlife. But if you take a closer look, you'll discover a handful of fun, little dives tucked away among the sleepy streets of Old Seabrook and along Seabrook's main thoroughfare, NASA Parkway. Take a journey back in time with a visit to Aurora on 4th and Hall in Old Seabrook. Hip-hop and rap might be banned from the playlist, but have no worries; this little Mediterranean-inspired lounge packs a musical punch in the form of 60's, 70's, and 80's-era music. Complete with a cigar bar and an outdoor patio, Aurora caters to crowds of all ages, although some twenty-somethings might find the vibe a little too low key.

So, if old-school ambiance is not what you're craving, hop over to Outriggers, a waterside dining and music hotspot on Fridays and Saturdays. Relax on the porch swings and watch the sailboats on Galveston Bay go by, or kick up your heels on the dance floor. Quality cover bands and other local musicians make the rounds at Outriggers, so it's definitely worth a visit. If you show up hungry, order their grilled oyster platter and a cold Corona. You won't be disappointed. The standard attire at this little Seabook hotspot? Shorts, a T-shirt, and flip-flops.

But if you're craving some serious Seabrook nightlife, then Lance's Turtle Club on NASA Parkway definitely delivers. This little "floating tavern" offers great music, attractive folks, and a view of beautiful Clear Lake--not to mention some pretty competitive karaoke. The dance floor might be small, but that just means that you'll get to know your dance floor neighbors in a hurry. It's an eclectic bunch at the Turtle Club, which makes it all the more fun. Like Aurora and Outriggers, it's another Seabrook gem that not everybody knows about.
