Astrologer Grant Lewi is the Father of Modern Astrology

Known in America as the father of modern astrology, astrologer Grant Lewi was born on 1902 in Albany, New York. After he graduated from Hamilton College and Columbia University, he started his career as an English teacher at Dartmouth, the University of North
Dakota, and the University of Delaware. His real goal in life was to become a writer, but hard times would not allow him to do that right for a while. In 1926, he married the daughter of an astrologer.

He married Carolyn Wallace, who was the daughter of astrologer Athene Gayle Wallace. He actually started practicing and studying astrology with his mother-in-law. In 1934, he started a new career as a professional astrology under the pseudonym of Oscar. He went on to write books such as ‘Astrology for the Millions’, and ‘Heaven Knows What’.

These two books written by the astrologer Grant Lewi were the first two astrology books to become best sellers, and still remain very popular today as guides to for beginners into the study of astrology. One of the main reasons for writing books such as ‘Astrology for the Millions’, was to allow the average person to be able to use astrology as a guide to living and to fulfill their destiny.

In the writings of his books, astrologer Grant Lewi provided his readers with charts and tables, to enable them to chart their horoscopes, then giving his interpretation to the information that was found there. He always gave honest interpretations, and never swayed from that practice. He refused to water down the truth just to make more money. He wanted to help the average person, not lead them down the wrong path.

Another reason that astrologer Grant Lewi wrote his books and magazine, was to help people live their lives to the fullest. He believed that astrology could be used as a daily guide to help overcome the different situations that come along each day. By reading and following your daily horoscope, the reader will become more prepared as to how to act and react to different situations and obstacles that confront them on a daily basis.
