The Departed. . . As Borat Would Say 'Great Success'

Movie crazies, there is a movie out there that you will enjoy from beginning to end. Although there was the potential for disaster mixing in many top stars in the film, but ‘The Departed’ hits the nail on the head and has proved to be a big box office hit, and it worth spending the thousand dollars for a ticket these days. ‘The Departed’ features many tops stars such as; Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson, Mark Wahlberg, Martin Sheen and Alec Baldwin. These guys do a phenomenal job in their latest action thriller that will have you hooked all the way to the finish.

If you like action, great acting, a killer plot (quite literally) then ‘The Departed’ is a must see. The plot outline goes something like this; Two men from opposite sides of the law are undercover within the Massachusetts State Police and the Irish mafia, but violence and bloodshed boil when discoveries are made, and the moles are dispatched to find out their enemy's identities. 

Matt Damon and Leonardo DiCaprio are stuck in the middle of an old fashioned right vs. wrong action packed success. Matt Damon is working for the ‘good guys’ and a mole for the ‘bad guys’ while DiCaprio is working for the ‘bad guys’ as a mole for the ‘good guys.’ The discovery is made that there is a mole working for both the good guys and the bad guys and then manhunt to find the mole unfolds in simply ironic and near miss sequences.

This movie has to be given the credit it deserves. With an excellent plot and loads of talent acting in the film, this movie was undoubtedly a success at the box office over the last few weeks. In my humble opinion, this was one of the better films released all year long. ‘The Departed’ is a very well put together film and keeps you thinking what is going to happen next, while keeping you in the loop the whole time. You will not find yourself puzzled in this one, as it is well put together and very informative.
