Deep Dish TV: The Nation's First Grass Roots Satellite Network

This Grass Roots Campaign is Taking Measures to Grow Its Cause

There is a new deep dish in town and it has nothing to do with the popular pizza that families order from Pizza Hut every weekend. Deep Dish TV is a new movement that is catching hold in American and hopes
to move forward with the support of a nation that has plenty to offer. The idea behind Deep Dish TV is simple. They hope to create a cooperative effort among programmers, independent video makers, and activists.

Deep Dish TV is the nation’s first grass roots satellite network and looks to do something that no one has done before. By revolutionizing the market and using the internet as a powerful networking tool, Deep Dish TV hopes to establish knowledge in America and afar about some of the more pressing issues facing the global community. It appears, at least at this point, that the effort of Deep Dish TV has been somewhat successful. Deep Dish TV is hoping to reach greater goals, however.

The newest production from the Deep Dish TV Company is a commentary and enlightening piece that addresses a dire situation in Africa. The DVD title “Suncookers” highlights both the best and worst of the African way of life. On one hand, the Deep Dish TV production celebrates a triumph of the human spirit in that mothers are tending for their children by cooking food with the help of the sun.

On the other hand, “Suncookers” brings to light the fact that the situation is so dire on that continent that people actually have to rely on this very primitive way in order to make their food. What Deep Dish TV hopes to promote is free thought and some discussion about this topic. With the cooperation of their partners and the sale of this documentary, it appears that Deep Dish TV has accomplished that somewhat.

Deep Dish TV has also brought to light other tedious situations. An inspiring and touching series on the problems in the United States’ prison system has drawn acclaim from pundits and supporters alike. Deep Dish TV has also gone so far as to expose some of the things going on in the Middle East with regards to the ongoing war. Their work, if nothing else, is brave and enlightening.
