Boston is a full of four star Mexican restaurants that serve delicious food. These restaurants offer up a lot of flavor, lively décor and friendly service. Yet, all of the four star establishments aren't created equal. A few of these Mexican restaurants offer foods directly influenced by certain regions and/or in ways unique to the usual preparation process. Below are the top three four star Mexican restaurants that fit this bill. They are the ones with a little extra edge because of their uniqueness. ANDALE
Andale is a four star Mexican restaurant that serves the financial district of Boston. For this reason, the food is served fast. Don't worry. The staff is friendly, but understand the needs of the community. Expect to eat authentic Mexican food from the Oaxaca and Veracruz region. What should you eat? You should eat the Pozole soup. It is a pork stew simmered with chile ancho, herbs and hominy. It is comfort food designed to relax you.

LA VERDAD
La Verdad is a four star Mexican restaurant in Boston that specializes in tacos (14 types). The décor is traditional and corn tortillas are created daily. The other great thing about this restaurant is the pick-up window. If you are on the go, you can drive up, get your food and drive off. It's the only party of this restaurant that is Americanized. What should you eat? You should try the Shrimp in Governor Sauce taco. It's tender shrimp covered with sauce, Monterey Jack and cilantro. The flavor is full and texture rich. In other words, it's not your mama's taco - this taco is a one-of-a-kind.
