Top Ten Gift Ideas for Wii Owners

Holiday Gift Guide

The Nintendo Wii launches on November 19th. With unique motion sensing controls that will revolutionize the gamin industry, expect it to be one of the hottest selling products this holiday season. Just buying the
Wii itself is useless; it needs games and accessories to max out its potential. The following is a list of top ten gifts that should accompany the Wii.

10. Red Steel by Ubisoft
Ubisoft’s Red Steel is a first person shooter only available on the Wii. Taking place in US and Japan, players have to shoot and hack their way to save the main character’s girlfriend from the Yakuza. Red Steel takes advantage of Wii’s motion sensing controller by using it to aim with a gun and swing with a sword. One of the best looking games for the Wii, Red Steel will also redefine the first person shooter gameplay with its innovative control scheme.

9. Extra Wii Remote and Nunchuck by Nintendo
Having to play videogames by yourself can get lonely. Luckily, most Wii games will have multiplayer modes, so having an extra controller or two is essential (especially if you have multiple gamers in the household). Since Nintendo’s philosophy for the Wii is for it to cater to non-gamers, having an extra controller around could entice some of your friends and family members to start playing.

8. Metal Slug Anthology by SNK
Metal Slug Anthology is a collection of the incredibly fun 2D action game series, Metal Slug. The anthology has seven games for the price of one: Metal Slug 1, 2, X, 3, 4, 5, and 6. The Wii version would also take advantage of the Wii motion sensing capabilities. Either playing by yourself or together with a friend, you will have an enjoyable time blasting your way through the stages.

7. Wii Controller Glove by BD & A
The Wii Remote only comes in the color white. As everyone knows, the color white can easily be dirtied. The Wii Controller Glove protects the Wii Remote from, not only dirt, but also oil which can make the remote feels slippery. The gloves also come in different colors (blue, black, pink and silver).

I NEED someone to tell Nintendo that (Tiny Tank: Up Your Arsenal) would be a great and profitable game to add to the Nintendo Wii system's shop channel, or even as a retail store game. I know that me and fifteen of my friends would pay an entire Wii points card or more to get are hands on a Wii Tiny Tank game. Tiny Tank is by AndNow and Appaloosa, perhaps these two can help. GO Nintendo!

Rababob, if you don't like my guide than don't sabotage it with your own “guide”. And what’s up with the Asian comment? You think that only Asians can enjoy Dragon Ball? Or that all Asians enjoy Dragon Ball?

Real gift guide: 10 Red Steel is shite, get rayman instead. 9 yeah extra Wiimote and nunchuck is a good pick, but it should be number 1, not 9 8 Metal slug is the bomb, but since it isn't out yet I wouldn't reccomend it. Also only get it if your giftee likes sidescrolling. 7 Glove? get any other gift on this list 1st. Then just give cash. 6 classic controller- 1st find out if your giftee has any wavebirds. If yes go to number 5 5 Is your giftee asian? Then maybe this is a good buy. Only dragonball fans want to play this. 4 Yes, get elebits 3 Like no one of any importance says, do not buy overpriced nintendo brand SD cards. 2 Yes, get trauma center 1. Don't get zelda, because they already have zelda. It's the best game for the wii and will probably be game of the year. Most likely another wiimote and nunchuck will be your gift of choice.

Don't spend money on the Wii branded SD card. It is way overpriced and any SD card will work.
