Compi's Restaurant and Bar Located on Main Street in New Britain, Connecticut - A Friendly Place to Spend Your Evenings

There is a little bar/restaurant located on Main Street in New Britain, Connecticut. It is called Compi's which is short for Compadre (which means friend, buddy, and pal in Spanish). There are many locals that frequent Compi's but everybody is definitely welcomed by the sociable atmosphere. The restaurant portion was waiting to be completed, but I am greatly pleased to say that it has now opened and the food is astounding. The cook, Pito, makes an astonishing chicken pasta dish that is sure to please anyone's palette.

The main focus of cuisine is Latino. Some of the items that are offered are grilled meat on a stick, pork chops, rice, beans, and chicken. They are all delicious and full of spectacular flavor. In the bar area you will find all the accoutrement's of a bar from soda to beer to almost any liqueur that you are looking for. There is also a pool table waiting for the pool sharks to the beginners. There are also two flat screen TV's with shows for every interest playing continuously. If you have a request to watch a particular channel, don't be afraid to speak up.

There is also a miniature jukebox on the wall for the bar area as well as a bar top video game console. Located towards the back of the bar are some tables, booths, and a VIP section that surround the dance floor. There is a DJ on duty to make the room swoon with the sounds and colors of music, while patrons dance till their hearts content. If you are worried about safety, don't be. The bar is staffed with a well trained and alert staff ready and able to end a scuffle before it even begins if necessary.
