There is a breed of people out there that simply live by different rules. They do not get up and go to work at 8 am and work for someone they do not like, they work for themselves, and they answer to only themselves. Gifts for the entrepreneur will be a little different in scope and price; however the options below are your best bet:

1) Magazine Subscriptions- This is the gift that keeps on giving, for at least a year anyway. Entrepreneurs read a great deal in order to get the advantage over the competition, so finding some great articles to show them some new ways to run their business is priceless. There are hundreds of newsletters, newspapers, and magazines out there, but starting with the big four will get them going in the right direction. The big four are Money Magazine, Fortune Magazine, Entrepreneur Magazine, and the classic guide to stocks and business news; The Wallstreet Journal.

2) Laptop- Depending on your spending level this one might be a little expensive if you do not know some tricks on buying usually expensive products. Most entrepreneurs have multiple streams of income which includes at least one of those levels being online either through EBay, or their own sites. A laptop would allow them flexibility in their business. In addition, there are many ways to find deals on laptops. All the big vendors (Dell, IBM, and Apple) all have refurbished options, which will give the buyer an almost new computer with a used tag price. Take the time to look and you could save hundreds.

3) Success Books- Entrepreneurs need mentors and the library is full of them. When choosing books to inspire your go getter, you should look for the international classics to make you the king/queen of gifts. Here are a few that are always the top suggested among the rich and famous: Psycho-Cybernetics by Dr. Maxwell Maltz, Awaken the Giant Within, by Anthony Robbins, and See you at the Top, by motivation guru; Zig Ziglar.
