One of the pleasures about being in New York City is the restaurants. In NYC, you can eat pretty much anything you are craving from good old American food to any ethnic food you desire. Soho, in my opinion, is one of the best areas of New York City for restaurants. There are some wonderful restaurants in Soho, and many of them with reasonable prices. So, the next time you're in Soho, check out these restaurants. They all serve great food at prices that won't break the bank.

Balthazar - 80 Spring Street New York City - I really love this Soho French bistro, although it does get very crowded. Sometimes crowds don't always mean the food is great, but in the case of Balthazar, the crowds are definitely correct. The food is just as wonderful as you'd expect. Prices are low for New York City, but quite high if you're from another part of the country. My favorite dish here is the Goat Cheese and Carmelized Onion tart. Eat that with a Balthazar Salad, and you've got the perfect meal in my opinion. At over $30 though, it is a bit steep for out-of-towners. The only drawback to Balthazar, is they've kept cramming tables in there so, often, you feel like you're eating your meal on your neighbor's lap. Taking out a few tables and making people wait longer would make it a much better experience for everyone. Open every day.
