This is a great comedy CD. Mike Rayburn is a musician/comedian who knows his stuff, both playing and making people laugh. The thing that mazed me most about this CD, and made me happy beyond belief, was the lack of swearing. I had started to think that the only way comedians thought they could be funny anymore was with an f-this and an f-that every other word. Mike skips all that to give you some really funny, raw talent, without the turn off of naughty words. the best things about Mike's comedic style is his blend of the comedy with music. He does these great skits where he does the music of one artist as it would sound sung by another artist. Like (included on this CD) Bob Marley sings Garth brooks, Dan Fogelberg sings AC/DC and even Led Zeppelin sings Dr. Seuss (which is one of my favorites).
With his musical talent. Mike has made this live performance at Carnegie Hall one to remember, even if all you get is to listen to it on this CD. Other funny parts are his Boy Bands skit, where he pretty much just makes fun of them... but it's great. And I also love The Devil, which is Mike's rendition of The Devil Went Down To Georgia.
I highly recommend picking up this CD. It will have you laughing in no time, and you can even share it with the kids!
