How to Create Art Through Statues

More and more cities, businesses, colleges, and people are commissioning statues as an art form to display around town, at home, and other places in an effort to beautify their cities and neighborhoods. Often, those who display such lavish statues are lovers of art in some form.

The artists who create these statues are often local citizens of the state or are. For example, in some cases, the statue's creator could have graduated from a local college and donated part of the proceeds to the local college for various reasons. Also, local cities or businesses could also know the artist personally or enjoy their work and commission further statues from the local artists.

Types of Statues

For those that have a library or reading area in your home, taking photos of sculptures that are reading can be transformed into a framed piece of art. These types of statues will fit into the rooms decor.

Music Statue Wall Hangings

There are also statues that are created for music theaters and music locations in some of the more popular areas where music is prominent. Often, you can find statues that are people playing various instruments. In some cases, I have seen musical instruments statues that have been placed around areas in which musical acts often perform.

Animal Statue Photo Wall Hangings

Many states will have cities that have animal statues showcasing the states bird or other prominent animals that were once dominant in their states history. These types of animal statue wall hangings can be used in decorating a child's room.

While these are just a few of the animal statues I have seen around Kansas, there are many other types of statues that are found in or near colleges as well showcasing local artists on campus or in the city the college is located in.

Metal Art Statues

Metal art statues are more contemporary in features than any of the other types of statues. Each of the metal art statues is created in abstract art more so than any other types of statues. However, there are metal art statues that are created in likeness of the person or animal they are created after.
