Many stars that have lost their public appeal have been turning to reality shows lately, and it's helped some of them like Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton, although it did turn Jessica into kind of a joke with all of her dumb blonde comments, and I'm not sure Paris Hilton counts, since she was never famous for anything but partying to begin with. The only person I can think of who actually improved their image through a reality show is Tori Spelling, and she actually did a god job of showing the world that she's actually a pretty nice, likable human being.

Anyway, I can't think of anyone else off the top of my head, but I could make a long list of celebrities that reality shows have hurt, like Britney Spears, the Hogan family, Ashley Simpson, P Diddy (he really lost a lot of his street cred), the Osbournes (Ozzy lost some of his metal edge), and Nick Lachey (his career didn't exactly take off like Jessica Simpson's did). There are many more that I haven't thought of, but that's the whole point: they're very forgettable.

Denise Richards is quickly becoming one a reality show star that is easily forgettable and easy to dislike. This show severely misused the word complicated; a complication to Denise is finding a new personal assistant to run around and pick up dog poo for her or worrying about whose leg her pot-bellied pig is humping at any given moment. It's great that she loves animals, but I think that the little bit of white trash she's got in her (which she admits herself), makes her long to live in a barnyard. She doesn't have much of a sense of humor; she's rather boring and whiny; and I think she really needs to get laid. The most "complicated" moment I've seen on the show so far is when her nephew has admitted that he's seen parts of Wild Things (ew!) and Denise discovers that he and his friends have her Playboy issue upstairs. She then has to explain to him why his aunt has acted like such a crazy slut in the past, and there's not really anyway to explain it. It was horribly, horribly awkward.
