Sensing Murder sure is an interesting TV show and the psychic mediums used are all good at their craft; not much woolly waffling with this mob. Well if they have moments of woolly waffling it is not shown on the show.
The show has a very engaging format and is broken up into several segments.

The first segment gives some background info in the life of the deceased and the next segment investigates what the psychics can pick up about the past life and circumstances of the deceased. Next we are given some information about the circumstances of the murder and the psychic mediums are then taken to the scene of the crime where here they are quizzed about possible motives and details of the crime. During the next segment perhaps some thus far unexplored leads given by the psychic are investigated.
The aim of the show is claimed to be to uncover new information to help solve and catch the killer or killers. Whether or not it has been successful I do not know; this would require further research.
The show is interspersed with interviews given by some significant police people and retired police people who were involved with the particular case. Any 'new' information is passed along to be handled by a team of private investigators. There are also often interviews with the family of the deceased and other significant people in their lives such as friends, colleagues and partners.

From the point of view of a practicing psychic detective let me endorse the psychic mediums used; they all certainly seem to be good at their craft.
The show goes to great length to endorse them too; telling us that they interviewed a couple of hundred or so psychics and finding that only about 3 or 4 were 'up to standard'.

Did You Know?
The show is interspersed with interviews given by significant police people, retired police people who most likely were involved with the particular case.
