Hold my hand;For I am afraid;
I am sinking;
Into the dark cold waters;
Of the raging sea;
Lift me up;
From this bottomless pit;
The walls are so high;
And my ladder has no rungs;
Kiss my face;
And pull me close;
Can you not see?
That my heart is broken;
Wrap me tightly;
In your strong, loving arms;
So that my body;
Can cease its shaking;
Speak to my heart;
In your sweet, gentle voice;
For I am so lonely;
Bandage my deep wounds;
My soul is bleeding;
Gently remind me;
That you really love me;
Because sometimes I wonder;
As bitter tears fall;
Lift up my cross;
From my aching shoulders;
I cannot bear it;
All by myself anymore;

Hold My Hand
How easy is it to forget in our darkest moments, that we are never really alone.
