Love pyramids? I do! Pyramids aren't that easy to find in everyday life, though. Craft stores might feature a pyramid or two but you can bet they're expensive. Generally, they have no purpose but to sit on a shelf and look nice. How would you like to have lots of pyramids around your home? And how would you like those pyramids to actually have a function? Well, you can easily make a pyramid for any room in your home and your pyramids will serve an important purpose!Create cool pyramids from things you have around the house, then use those pyramids, to hold everything from bath products to kitchen utensils. You likely have everything you need to get started right away.
One easy yet useful pyramid can be made from tin cans. Use sand paper to smooth the edges then wrap the cans in fabric, printed paper or even velvet ribbon. Make the pyramid as large as you wish, adding another row, and another until you have the size you need. Spray painting the inside of the cans will make this project look more professional.
The cans can hold rolled wash cloths, trial size bath and body products, art supplies, spices and more. Set it in the kitchen, bathroom, child's room or other area of the home. Use any number of craft items, like stickers, ribbon or roping to add elegance to the arrangement.
Plastic bowls can be used to make a unique pyramid to hold plants. Glue the bowls together and position them in a pyramid shape. Each bowl can hold a colorful plant. This arrangement is great for an area behind the kitchen sink or even to set on the deck.
Create a totally different type of pyramid by gluing together spray paint can lids. Paint the entire arrangement a single color then use the cubby holes to hold rolled wash cloths, art supplies for kids or even spices.
Push the open side of the can lids against a wall and create a different type of pyramid. Glue a craft stick in each hole that has formed by gluing the lids together. Allow the glue to dry and you've created a unique jewelry holder for a female.
