Review of Security Inn in Orlando, FL

Many people have enjoyed hotels in the Orlando area. However, one of the hotels to stay away from is the Security Inn. It is said to be dangerous, filthy and otherwise a very scummy hotel.

When I went to Orlando I was expecting a time of sun shine and an otherwise relaxing stay in a city known for tourism. I figured by its name that Security Inn would be a safe place for my family and I to stay at. I was very wrong. We checked in about 5:30 PM and pulled our luggage towards the room. We opened the door and were blasted back by what we saw. The room was filthy. It reminded me of living in a garbage dumpster. The entire room looked like it had been smoked in and was otherwise dirty. I wondered if they even employed a maid staff. I then walked into the bathroom and found no towels. That wasn't a surprise when I looked at the bedding and it appeared to have not been washed in the past decade. The room still smelled disgusting and why would I allow my family to stay in any hotel that has a large hole in the wall?

The dumpster, which was located next to our room was a health hazard in and of itself. There were five raccoons going through it and it was just beginning to be way too much. I finally gave in and told myself it is time to go. I promptly issued a charge back with my MasterCard against the hotel. You could not even call it a hotel because of all the problems with it. I am surprised that they are still open with all the problems they have. I also called the health department and made sure that they were aware of what went on. I eventually regained all the money I spent on the crud conditions of the Security Inn. You would think that a hotel with the name Security Inn would have some security features and keep their rooms clean and professional. I guess it was just too much for them to handle.

If you want to stay at a hotel that does not care about you except for your money, by all means go to the Security Inn in Orlando. Otherwise, I would recommend you go to a much safer, cleaner establishment that cares about you and will do the right thing in order to keep your business.
