I finally became me.
I'm no longer my sister
who wears lipstick so dark.
I'm no longer my mother
who counts every penny.

I'm not my brother
who "knows it all."
I'm not my father who shows "It" off.

I'm me, just plain me.
This is what I was meant to be.
And this is what I'll be forever.
