Top 10 Teen Idols of Today

As a teen, the teen idols I remember most were Britney Spears, the Backstreet Boys, N'Sync, and Jonathan Taylor Thomas. I know there were more, but I just recall people being absolutely crazy about these teen dreams, although it seems very funny and ridiculous to me now. These are the teens of today that are capitalizing off of the idol worship that the young are so apt to engage in:

The Jonas Brothers
This trio of abstinent brothers is the boy band of today. The Jonas Brothers are the kings of the teen and tween music scene, and now are the stars of the incredibly popular Disney series, Camp Rock. Their upbeat brand of "rock" has become the soundtrack of the lives of their Abercrombie & Fitch wearing, text-messaging, extremely enthusiastic fans, but as they and their audience grow older, it will be interesting to see if they can make the transition from this age group into an "adult" band.

Vanessa Hudgens
This incredibly cute star of High School Musical fame shocked the world with her naughty nude photos (more so because she had pubic hair than anything), but she's not any less beloved for her faux pas. She broke many girls' when she began dating one of the other teen sensations of this incredibly colorful, sugary-sweet franchise, the perfectly "manscaped" Zac Efron.

Zac Efron
His baby blues melted the hearts of teen girls everywhere as he belted out his cheesy but beloved musical scores, and he has the most perfectly manicured eyebrows imaginable. Though the High School Musical franchise can't go on forever, he's probably earned himself a fan following that isn't going to die down anytime soon.

Ashley Tisdale
Yet another High School Musical star, Ashley Tisdale has been troubled by a few controversies of her own, namely that of getting a nose job. In a cute, bubbly contest, it's hard to say whether she or Vanessa Hudgens would win, and it's amazing that the world can handle seeing the two of them on screen together.
