Protestant Churches in Boston are plentiful. One reason why is that the term "Protestant" envelops a variety of churches. These churches range from a quiet Presbyterian church to a lively Apostolic one. As a result, if the church name doesn't distinguish what it is, you won't know until you attend a service. Below are four protestant churches in the Boston area. All are protestant, but with a unique ministry or focus to them. Be sure to check out their websites for additional information on their beliefs. FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF BOSTON
Two women and seven men started the First Baptist Church of Boston in 1665. The belief of this Boston protestant church is in Jesus Christ and soul liberty (freedom of worship). The latter was a tenet they fought for in their church. This church has a skilled choir that sings contemporary and classic hymns. They also have a women's ministry that actually teaches leadership in young girls.
