Boston By Foot

It is difficult to drive through Boston or take the bus because of the many other vehicles on the road. Getting around on foot is definitely the better way to go, and makes it easier to stop at tourist attractions. Boston By Foot is a company that offers walking tours throughout the area. The groups are small, headed by a professional guide, and make plenty of time to stop for lunches and photo taking. These tourist attraction tours range from the North End to the Freedom Trail. Admission is only $12 for adults and $8 for children.

Boston Nightlife

Contrary to popular belief, Lansdowne Street by Kenmore Square isn't the only place to find good nightlife opportunities in Boston. Some of the best night time tourist attractions are located elsewhere.

Faneuil Hall has a range of bars and clubs that are popular to tourists. Many of the visitors to Boston go here to experience the tourism atmosphere. If you aren't so fond of this and would prefer to hang out with the locals, the bars on Marshall and Union Streets are the way to go.

A few of the best bars to go to in this area are the Green Dragon, Purple Shamrock, The Black Rose, and Bell in Hand. The Black Rose is often more commonly frequented by tourists, however.

The Day Trips

One of the most fun tourist attractions in Boston during the day are The Swan Boats of Boston. The Swan Boats are paddled by a driver around the Public Garden Lagoon. This 15 minute cruise is peaceful and relaxing for everyone. Fare is only $2.75 for adults and $1.50 for children, making this tourist attraction one of the easiest around town.
