It seems as though President Bush now has a new threat to worry about, and I am not talking about the Democrats. This is one man who does not like President Bush by any stretch of the imagination. This individual is renowned for his power as a black magic practitioner in Bogor, Indonesia. His name is Ki Gendeng Pamungkas and he is on a mission to jinx the President.

President George Bush and some of his staff took a brief visit to Indonesia to meet with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in the Bogor Presidential Palace. Ki Gendeng Pamungkas executed a voodoo ritual which involved the practitioner to drink, and smear on his face, a black magic potion. This potion consists of the blood from a goat, black crow and snake. The voodoo practitioner said this ritual will put President Bush’s Secret Service into some sort of a trance that would make them think President Bush was being under attack. This would in turn cause chaos in the Bogor Presidential Palace while President Bush was meeting with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. When talked to, Pamungkas simply said “I don’t hate Americans, but I don’t like Bush”. Pamungkas also said that the reason he is doing voodoo is because “…the other ritual would not work”.

The reason for President Bush’s visit to Indonesia is to encounter the Anti-US attitude that has built up in the Indonesian people. US relations with Indonesia were relatively good until the recent wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Lebanon. However, most of the Indonesian people are Anti-Bush, not Anti-American, but nonetheless the Indonesian officials say that they must remain good relations with the US because of our economic and military assistance. After the Tsunami in 2004 and the quick response by the US to help, the Indonesian people showed great goodwill toward the US. But since then they are saying the US is spending too much time focusing on Iraq and Afghanistan and less time on the Asian countries.
