We needed new grill this summer but budget has been quite low. Finally we decided to buy this cheap grill from Home Depot. The box was not too heavy to carry and it was pretty easy to put together. Only problem we had was with the medal rack inside under the grill, instructions did not clearly state that you have to place it in before screwing the sides together. Other than that everything was marked and instructions have clear pictures of how to install parts together, it took me and my husband about 40 minutes to build everything together.
We have been using this grill now about four weeks and so far we are pretty happy with it. It ignites easily and grills fast, almost too fast comparing to my old grill!
I wish the low level would be little less hot, if you leave you knobs in the middle position like I used to with my old grill, you will burn your food in most cases. But after figuring out the heat levels we have been grilling pork chops in about 35 minutes and burgers in no time with this grill.
We bought extra medal rack with circle wholes to place on the grill with most of our food, that rack has handles and makes transporting food into the grill and avoids food falling through. That rack costs about $15.
There is no glass on the grill cover so you need to open it to see your food. Other thing I'd like to see improved is utensil knobs on the right side of the grill, they could be little deeper, my thongs do not stay there without an extra hanger.
There is a bun rack on top and it works well, grease cup under the grill is quite wobbly and hard to place back after emptying it.
Grill comes with one year limited warranty for parts, you can register your grill online at www.grillregistration.com. You can call them at Grill Service Center from 8AM-6PM EST Mon-Fri 1-800-241-7548
So far this grill has been easy to wipe clean and it is so much easier to use than charcoal but still gives you great grilling results. I only seen it in black color and it looks quite stylish in our porch for the money we paid!
