Believe it or not, there are plenty of quiet places in the Orlando area to eat. Following is a list of five quaint and quiet restaurants to eat at in Orlando Florida. Obviously most of the locations are for those without children who want to enjoy a little piece and quiet. One thing to remember is that the prices and the hours can change at any time. It is often best to call ahead to verify the hours' first.

1. The first location is Le Coq Au Vin located at 4800 South Orange Avenue, Orlando Florida 32806. The telephone number is 407-851-6980. This quaint little restaurant is open only for Dinner, Tuesday through Saturday from 5:30pm until 10:00pm, and Sunday from 5:00pm until 9:00pm. They do take reservations which is a really good idea since the restaurant only holds about 100 people. They do have their own parking low so it should not be a problem. You can bring children but they must be very well behaved and quiet. The décor makes you feel as if you are sitting in a little quaint French Bistro which is really nice. They are a bit pricey so expect to pay well over $20 per plate. This is a good setting for a romantic night out with someone special in you life. On the menu you can expect to find plenty of fish and steak dishes.

2. Hemingway's is located at 1 Grand Cypress Boulevard, Orlando Florida 32836. The telephone number is 407-239-1234. They are open Sunday through Monday from 6:00pm until 10:00pm. The décor is very romantic and you can even eat with a view of the waterfall which adds to the décor. On the menu you can expect to find everything from squid to eggplant. They also have crab cakes and sandwiches that you can choose on the menu as well. This is the perfect quiet location for a romantic evening out, or if you just want a nice quiet dinner. They also have a very nice wine selection. The prices are a bit on the high side but it is well worth it. You can expect to pay over $20 for your main course at this location, but you can ask about their daily specials. The service is excellent and there is ample parking located nearby.

Great article. I thought it was tough to find a quiet meal in Orlando (because of all the kids/tourists), I will hang onto this list. :-) *****
