West Hollywood, California is like its own state. It is so different that Los Angeles and the restaurants are fantastic. Whether you are having a casual lunch with a friend, a business meeting or a romantic meal for two West Hollywood has the perfect restaurant for you.

I would recommend the seafood dishes at Sona over everything else. They are most worth the money. They also offer wine pairing assistance for the food you order. The atmosphere is casual and romantic and makes Sona the perfect place for a first date.

Lucques

West Hollywood, California 90069
(323)655-3925

Hours of Operation

Price Range $40.00-$80.00

Food: Mediterranean, French, American, Californian

I have been here for lunch a few times and was impressed every time with both the service and the food. You can also sit outside on the patio and the experience is even better. I would recommend the grilled chicken with sweet corn, onions, roasted jalapeño and queso fresco. It is the perfect mix of hot and sweet. I would recommend Lucques for a casual lunch with a friend or two.

Jinpachi
8711 Santa Monica Boulevard
West Hollywood, California 90069
(310)358-9134

Hours of Operation
Lunch Tuesday-Saturday 11:45am-2:30pm
Dinner Monday-Saturday 5:45pm-10:30pm

Price Range $25.00-$100.00

Food: Japanese and Sushi

Jinpachi has a great variety of sushi and it is all fantastic and well worth the high price tag. You should definitely try the sakes as well. I would suggest you make a reservation if you plan on having dinner here in Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. I would recommend Jinpachi for a casual lunch date or a romantic dinner for two.
