The Catskills, new York's vacation area, has a high reputation for fun and relaxation. Often considered part of the Appalachian Mountains, this area is well known for its natural, mountainous beauty. Just a short drive from the city, yet miles away from the busy life, you will find the Catskills to be to ultimate escape.

Nestled in beautiful surroundings and the answer to a much needed rest, you will find a variety of getaways. The Catskill Mountains offers everything from a village cottage to a solitary cabin nestled in a secluded spot.

A lovely village cottage is this quaint cottage located right in one of the Catskill villages. This little cottage is located in the sleepy little village of Pine Hill. The Pine Hill Cottage sleeps up to fourteen people comfortably in its five bedrooms. Two bathrooms, a full kitchen and living room make this your home away from home. The cottage is set far enough back from the road to offer a great front yard area for lawn games or gatherings. Ginger-bread styled and fit with modern conveniences, this offers a relaxing place for "home base". This cottages has a hot tub on the back deck and a wood stove in the living room. You will find your cottage just a short walk from the Trailways Bus stop and swimming in Bellayre Lake. The cottage rents for $200 per night or $775 per week. It is recommended that you have a car if you wish to sightsee. 1 mile off Route 28, it is a 60 mile drive to Kingston where you will find the nearest airport.

I plan to visit friends in the area up there next summer. I will come back to this article to find a place to stay. Nice work!
