LaGuardia's Best Car Rentals

LaGuardia is one of the biggest and busiest airports in the United States. Because they are so huge, they are provided with all of the major car rental dealerships. They have every size, make and model of vehicle you could possibly want.

Finding deals at LaGuardia is not impossible. If you can arrange your car rental online, there are several great sites to use. If you are going to wait until you get in the Airport to look for a deal, you may not find as many or may not be able to get the best deal out there.

Avis, Dollar, Hertz, Enterprise, and National Car Rental, all service LaGuardia. Checking each company's website for web deals or individual company deals is the best first step. Each company can offer extras that travel services may not be privy to yet.

Enterprise Car Rentals are absolutely the best across the board and across the country. Every time I have to rent a car, I go to Enterprise first to see what they have available.

When I checked out Enterprise Rentals, they had the best individual deals. For an economy car for 10 days, which is something like a Chevy Aveo, it averages about $33.50 per day. Of course the larger vehicle you need, the more you will pay. A Chevy Tahoe was averaging about $60 per day.

With gas prices being out there in space, a Chevy Tahoe would not necessarily be my first choice, but they do have them at a more reasonable price than any other vehicle I did research on.

Hertz Rentals prices were much higher at an average of $66.00 per day for the same size vehicle. I have found that Hertz is higher no matter where you go.

Dollar Rent a Car Services was in the middle price range with an average for an economy car running about $38 per day.

When renting a car at LaGuardia Airport in New York, it is best to make advanced reservations. Priceline, Cheap Tickets and other travel companies can help you get a good deal on car rentals. They have specials and opportunities for reduced rates to promote their companies.
