Days after the New Yorker magazine failed miserably in attempting to convey satire with its Obama cover, Jib Jab is giving people what they need: digestible humor. While you can find funny election videos at YouTube and Google Video, sites like Jib Jab offer up a special type of humor. It's also easy to find just funny political videos with a web site like JibJab.com.

The Jib Jab web site, found at JibJab.com is not new. The strength of Jib Jab is in its original, funny videos. Jib Jab has been around since 1999, and gains popularity during pre-election season. JibJab.com made a name for itself with the election of 2004. They have a special funny video section devoted to Election 2008.

Similar to JibJab.com in the original video offerings department, is Funnyordie.com. Funnyordie.com is video web site that features celebrity-made web sites, which gives it extra cache in the humor department. One of the creators of this web site is Will Ferrell.

The Funnyordie.com video web site, similar to JibJab.com has a section devoted to Politics. At Funnyordie.com you can view Will Ferrell as George Bush, a new Republican slogan video and more. The attraction of Funnyordie.com is that the videos are reminiscent of the best sketch comedies in the early days of Saturday Night Live. They are short. Short works best in funny videos and funny political videos.

The JibJab.com web site also goes for the short videos on its web site.

Another upside to Funnyordie.com is how current some of the subject matter is on the video web site. There is already a video about Jesse Jackson's comment about Barack Obama on this web site.
