ShovelHead Lounge Grand Opening in Longwood, Florida

Shovelhead Lounge located in Longwood Florida is now under new Ownership. Glenda and Jeff are sister and brother. Daring to take the challenge they have taken on Shovelhead. Glenda also owns the SandBar in Deltona Florida so she is no stranger to the bar scene. ShovelHead has been around for a very long time and has gone through some trying times.Now that is all over with. Up for the task Glenda and Jeff have made many new changes to the decor. They have taken the time to replace all carpet with tile and gave it a whole new paint job. Now with the new look we can get back to the good ole days with a little Glenda twist.

Shovelhead has been known throughout the years for many,many things. It has been involved in many charity runs and fundraisers as well as Great fun. First lets get to know the Hot bartenders. We have Stephanie, Rose, Tara, Jesse, Pauline, and our favorite Torey. When you walk through the door you are greeted with a smile. If you have never been there give it five minutes and you will feel like you have been there for years. All the bartenders go out of their way to make you feel like you are Norm Peterson from Cheers.

Shovelhead is known for all the great local bands that they bring in. Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday they have a band. Each band brings in great following so it is always Rockin in there. Coming up this weekend they have W.T.F playing it is one of the hottest bands to come out of Longwood. You have Bartman Baker from Level and Bruce Cole from the Bruce Cole band teaming up with retired drummer Tracy and John who can shout out vocals that will shock you.Not only does Glenda take pride in bring in only the best bands, she has taken the time for those of you who like to have a little game time while having a drink.
