Your Child's Prayer

Father and God,
Lord of us all;
You are there to catch me
Every time that I fall.

I feel your touch
Drying my tears;
Holding me in your arms
To calm all of my fears.

Your warming love
Is all around;
Making me whole again
With every soothing sound.

My salvation
Rests in your hand;
Only your righteousness
Can help me make a stand.

I witness you
In all I see;
The wonders of nature
And all that surrounds me.

I can't survive
Without you there;
For when others fail me
I know you still care.

Hear me, Savior.
Please hear my call;
Use me as you wish
For betterment of all.

Allow me to give
Whatever I can
To make a small difference
For the benefit of man.

That is all ask
And all that I need;
For only through service
Can my soul finally be freed.
