Long Island, New York is a wonderful place to visit. The beaches are wonderful. What's more, it is away from the crazy city activity that is found in the crowded cities of the state. While on the island, there are many attractions you'll really want to see. As a matter of fact, they are so great that you not want to pass them up. Here are three of the top tourist attractions to see on Long Island, New York.

First of the top tourist attractions to see on Long Island, New York is the Amityville Horror House, which is located at 112 Ocean Ave., Amityville, New York. In this house, a young adult killed his entire family in the middle of the night and said that it was done because he heard voices from paranormal activity telling him to do such acts. A few years later, another family moved into the house and said that they felt evil energy, as well as had some horrible experiences at the hands of the same paranormal activity that caused the boy to kill his family. A book and several movies were written concerning this house. Still, it is debatable whether or not there is actually paranormal activity in the house. I am one who supports that there is since there is actually footage showing that this is the case. While the house is fenced up, people have come there in the night just to test the waters and to see if they'd come across such activity. Some have, which is why I do not understand people denying that it exists. If you are looking for one big thrill, this is really the place to go for sure!

Next of the top tourist attractions to see in Long Island, New York is Atlantis Marine World Aquarium. This is one of Long Island's major tourist attractions, and one of my favorites second to that of the Amityville Horror House. Here, there is an aquarium that is full of many forms of wildlife, including sharks and other interesting fish. What's more, there are several interactive activities that make your trip to this place well worthwhile. If you decide to come here, that is no doubt that you'll have a lot of fun!
