Bridal Shower Game / Activity #1: Guess the Dress

This is a fabulous activity if the bride has not told many guests about her dress or shown pictures of it. Basically you get a photo of her dress - this really works well if you can print it from online or clip it from a magazine. Then you randomly select other dress pictures (about 5-7 or so) from online or in magazines. Have each guest guess the correct dress and whoever is correct wins - there could be several winners. To add some humor, try to get a picture of a really odd wedding dress such as a white pant suit, etc. If there are some guests who have seen her dress, they will have to sit out on this game.

Bridal Shower Game / Activity #2: Mix and Match Marriage Advice

This is a funny activity. There's no winner but it's a lot of fun and can be hilarious. Provide each guest with two slips of paper. Tell them on the first one to write a problem or tough situation that can occur in a marriage. For example, it could be "Groom's mother decides to move in with you", or "You try to fix a nice romantic dinner but give (groom's name) food poisoning instead." Then, on the second slip of paper, tell them to write a solution to a problem, but not necessarily the problem they wrote about. It could be something like "Call 911 - they'll give you step by step instructions." or "Run around in a whipped cream bikini". Collect all of the pieces of paper. Put the "problems" in one bowl / hat and the "solutions" in another. Then choose one "problem" to read and one "solution" to read. The combinations might be hilarious! You might want to write a few hilarious problems and solutions to add in (no one will be counting) to make it even funnier.
