Overly's Country Christmas is not only one of the most beautiful and creative light display’s; it is brimming with country flare that almost seems magical. Travelers from everywhere brave the severe winter conditions that Pennsylvania often witnesses in an effort to join in on the festivities at Overly’s in Greensburg, Pennsylvania every year. In fact Overly’s is now recognized nationally and has been featured on Good Morning America, ABC, NBC, and CBS affiliated television programs. The 2.4 million lights displayed on the 15 acre Christmas village has been going strong for over 40 years, and it only gets better each holiday season. The attention to detail picked up such strong attention from visitors that Good Housekeeping Magazine named Overly's Country Christmas as one of America's Best Outdoor Light Displays.

Overly’s officially opens on November 17th and carries on through the Christmas and New Year holidays up until January 1st. The display is set up at the Westmoreland fairgrounds and over 1,000 committed volunteers work tirelessly to carry out the Christmas tradition that Harry Overly dreamed up and eventually created almost a half a century ago. The light display has been set up as to allow visitors to enter by first driving through the light display, followed by a stroll through the Christmas village, Santa’s workshop, the Hartman train display, the live animal display as well as the manger and the huge bonfire. Guests have entered a different world once they have entered the Christmas village as holiday music floods the P.A. system and the smell of hot chocolate, kettle korn, and fudge waft through the air.
