Avid golfers who arrive at Beale AFB will want to get over to the Coyote Run Golf Course as quickly as possible. But for those who are new to the sport or for those who want to improve their golf swing, they can also benefit from stopping by the Coyote Run Golf Course and joining any one of the golf clinics on offer. There is no need to attend every golf clinic that is running each week in order to benefit. There is also no pressure to sign up in advance or commit to a month long golf clinic course in order to be made welcome. Free to Military ID Card Holders
The Coyote Run Golf Course has been offering free golf clinics every Wednesday in July to military ID card holders, their spouses and dependent children. The Tuesday clinics had to be altered to Wednesdays from 12:00pm-1:00pm, due to a prior engagement on the part of the golf instructor. The free golf clinics are an ongoing event at Beale AFB. This is ideal for beginner golfers who are still learning the basics of how to swing a golf club for the first time or for more experienced golfers who simply want to brush up on their golf skills, get back to basics, or after a lengthy absence from golfing.
All Ages Welcome
All ages are welcome to attend the free golf clinics that are being held at the Coyote Run Golf Course. Ages have ranged from young children, through to elderly students wanting to perfect their gold technique.
Different Techniques
Each week, the gold instructor has been teaching different golf techniques. For example, some weeks the golf instructor has been teaching students how to grip the golf clubs and how to adopt the correct stance and posture to help ensure that they deliver a good swing once they hit the ball. On other occasions, he has spent more time concentrating on drivers and fairway woods. Those who attend the free golf clinics at the Coyote Run Golf Course are encouraged to take along their own golf clubs so that they can feel more comfortable practicing with the clubs that they will use once they get out onto the golf course.
