There has been very little publicity about what that phone number is for that is found on the back of Texas Drivers License This phone number is placed there for a reason and not many people especially women even know that it is there. Women need to be me made aware of this numer and what its purpose is.

Just above the bar code in the lower left side is a telephone number. It is really tiny print but it is there:
1-800-525-5555. This is a number for Emergency Assistance on the highway.

Women can dial this number if they are stranded on the highways when their car breaks down or if they have a flat tire or when any other type of emergency situation arrives.

A State Trooper will come to your location along with a Service Truck and make sure that you get the help you need.

This service is operated by the State and is paid for by our tax dollars. We should use we pay for it! If you are ever stranded on the highways just call the number off of the back of your Drivers Lisence. Help is on the way. Every woman from the state of Texas needs to know this information.
