Next, pack one thin layer of clothing. The third layer will be your electronic equipment. Then you should pack another layer of clothing. The final layer can be heavier items such as a change of shoes.

You can pack your carry on bag with the items that you need. Separating the sections with clothing will make it easier for the security checkpoint to x-ray your bag and give you clearance.

Valuables

Assume that your luggage that is checked is going to get lost, stolen or accidentally opened. Anything that has value to it should be packed in your carry on bag. This includes items that carry sentimental value and cannot be replaced. Bags are not always lost or stolen but it is a good rule of thumb to follow for your valuables.
