The most memorable way to get around Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida is to use the monorail. The monorail is safe and fun and it's one of the best ways to see the Walt Disney World grounds from a height. Here are some tips on using the monorail to get around Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

Firstly, know where the monorail goes. Or more importantly, know where it doesn't go. The monorail does not travel to most Walt Disney World resorts. Nor does it travel to Disney's Hollywood Studios or Disney's Animal Kingdom. It does not travel to Downtown Disney or any of the Walt Disney World water parks. So where does the monorail go? The monorail travels between Disney's Magic Kingdom resorts and its earliest theme parks. You can take the monorail to and from the Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Resort, and the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. You can also take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot Center. And Disney's Transportation and Ticket Center.

Monorail etiquette is very important. Here are some tips. When you enter a monorail, slide all the way down to make room for everyone. If there are elderly or disabled people boarding the monorail, be sure to offer them your seat. If you are traveling with children, do your best to keep them under control.

Safety is also very important. If you're standing during your ride on the monorail, be sure to hold on to the handrails. Stay clear of the doors. And when you are disembarking, it is important to take small children firmly by the hand.

The monorail is free to use (even if you are not staying at a Disney resort), so be sure to take advantage of it. If you just miss a monorail, don't worry. There will be one pulling up behind it in just a few minutes at most. And that means there's no need to run for it either. It's not worth falling and hurting yourself to save five minutes of your family vacation.

Sit back, relax and enjoy the monorail experience. And be sure to share these tips on using the monorail with your entire family on your next Orlando, Florida vacation.
