A Review of the Eminem-Produced Album Hanni-Capped Circus by Bizarre

His First Solo Album

So it's been a year and some change since D12's D12 World dropped and finally Bizarre has decided to grace us with his first solo album. He's kinda like the Old Dirty Bastard of D12. He has a wild personna, complemented by over-the-top, out- -of-control lyrics. Following the same gag
as Marshall, Hannicap Circus starts off with a Public Service Announcement. As the announcement says, Grab a Blunt, Take a big hit, Sit Back and enjoy the ride. Then the CD starts off with a minute and 38 second intro. This intro has a pretty cool with a pounding synth and piano. Bizarre states that he is the number one wierdo, and the band has a new leader. Bizarre has a nice flow and steady verses in this killer intro. The first track after the intro is a gospel song. Another great beat. It has funk qualities mixed with gospel energy. Bizarre dedicated this song not to god, but to his savior, Weed. A great song just to lay back to and light up a J. I could sing the hook over and over. This song is just catchy, and makes you want to smile while praising the lord.Next up is a song called "F*ck your Life." It features Sindee Syringe singing the hook. The beat is strong and pulsing. Driving home the fact that "we hate life". Bizarre brings his lyrics heavy hitting and grimey. Everything he says is f*cked up, so you can't take anything he says seriously. He is in no way a role model, and he likes it that way. Not the kind of song you want a kid hearing. He even talks about skeeting in brittany spear's ears. The first skit on this album starts off with him calling Fat Father to hear a joke. Fat Father disses Bizarre and vice versa. They keep it going back and forth. Some of it is actually pretty funny. All of it is funny listening to it the way Bizarre intended, high as a motha. Then comes a song called 'Let the Record Skip.'  As bizarre has stated before, his dj is in a coma for letting the record skip. This beat once again is tight. It kind of sounds like old-school Snoop and old school Dre-produced tracks. Meaning it has that fun, synth beat with a bit of funk. He starts off just cussing up a storm. I love it. Saying anything he wants to. Young Miles adds a rough attitude to this track and tears it up nice. It compliments Bizarre's slow notorius flow very well. After that great song is "I'm in Luv Witchu." The hi-hats beat away real quick, as the organ whines precariously. There are synth trumpet hits that set it off nice as well as the funky bass and hard sounding bass drum.  Bizarre confesses to the girl of his dreams all the things he loves about her. He again gets pretty nasty, and is just utterly ludacris. Through the song, he begins to realize just how much he really hates this chick, and starts shouting the weirdest things to her. After that dreamy love song, Bizarre tells his fans how much of a 'Rock Star' he is.I don't know what everybody is talking about when they say this song sounds like Just lose it or my band. It has a fast driving beat of guitars, and even an accordian getting in on the action. This song pumps me up. It starts off with Bizarre asking where marshall is? Oh who cares? Because Bizarre's shaking his ass on stage. He is rock star, a dirty grungy filthy rockstar. He fits in well with this ego. He probably messes up a hotel room just to do it. Bizarre's flow once again is right on target. He goes along well with this fast paced beat. It sounds like something is about to happen, if you don't listen to him and just go with the flow.He follows up with a song called Ghetto Music. It features Swifty, Stic. Man, and King Gordy. This beat is alright. It's lacking something though. It doesn't go along with the rest of the album. I just don't think Bizarre flows over this track that well. The hook is alright. But for what it's worth, I'd much rather listen to Outkast's original.Moving on from that subpar attempt, is a skit about bizzarre's rich and fabulous life. Riding around in his 97 Neon and an 81 landrover. It's alright. Funnier than his first skit. Better just because of the music playing in the background. Then there is the song "I'm So Cool." He dedicates this track to this grandpa Sweet Red. The beat is cool, with a pan flute over the funky bass line and dreamy synth. Bizarre comes with a smooth approach to all the ladies. The only thing is it's kinda hard to believe how cool he is after he just got done with a bunch of songs calling him a fat nasty bastard. But I guess that doesn't stop him from being cool. The song 'Porno Bitches'  features Big Boi and Devin The Dude.It starts off with the hook sung accapella. Then the beat comes in. The beat is okay. Again, it's lacking a bit of something. It sounds too simple. But Big Boi tears his bars up. He can make this beat come to life and make it sound good. I think he also inspired Bizarre to really bring it as well. He has his attitude back. It went away for a couple of tracks. The beat does get a little better when they bring in the violin.  All in all, it's a good song. Worth the listen, even if you only listen for Big Boi. Bizarre puts another jam dedicated to the ladies called 'Crush on You'It's pretty funny. Bizarre brings the comedy out of the closet with this one. This is a smooth track where bizarre sings over the hook. He sings to the girl while she comments back. Bizarre tells her how he is really a closet freak, and she seems a little bit disturbed by it. But he makes it better by saying he doesn't care what she looks like, all he wants to do is hold her. Then the song goes kinda weird and they have a high pitched voice sing over the beat and to tell the truth freaked even me out a little. Moving on.Bizarre has a throwback on this album too. He remakes Ice Cube's Good Day, calling it 'Bad Day'It's basically the same plot as Ice Cube's song, except the exact opposite. But it's still bizarre, so it was funny. He gets a beep from sherry. Instead of kim, being able to F**K All Night, Sherry is a Transvestite. So you get the jist of the song. The beat is a little retooled. It sounds pretty cool with the drum beat and smooth jazz feel to it.I guess Bizarre just needed a friend. This song is called 'I Need a friend'He starts off going crazy, and it goes awry from there. The beat is underlaying and right on for this song. During the verses, it lays back and lets Bizarre get carried away. The Drums have a hard snare, never letting you forget Bizarre is in pain. Then on the hook the guitars come whaling in and Bizarre sings a little. All he needs is a friend. Good song, and funny. The next song is called 'Once Chance'This beat is pretty cool. It has a piano to set the mood, along with synth to make it dreamy. Bizarre talks about how he never was any good in school. The hook kinda mirror's Eminem's Lose Yourself, because it goes "You only get once chance to make it."  But the verses are good. The storys about what he went through makes you think what's truth and what's fiction. Still, it's all funny.'Hip Hop' is a song featuring Eminem. The beat is a killer. Again that pounding lurking bass. Bizarre raps about how he's all about hip hop and has been that way since the age of 10. Bizarre tears up this beat. The chorus has a violin with choir voices chanting Hip Hop. The second verse is all shady's. He raps about how Hip Hop is all about violence these days, and how he could never see Pop Singers get into fights. If only Em could spit like this on his own albums. He puts his CD Encore to shame with this flow.Somebody call a 'Doctor Doctor' because Bizarre is sick! Once again, Bizarre has his usual Tear It Up Flow. He is agressive in this and is straight brutal. He sounds like he's going to kill someone, if he doesn't kill himself first. As for Obie. What song isn't he awesome on? Obie is harsh and nasty in this one. I don't know who comes with a rawer flow, Obie or Bizarre. Good question, theyre both sick. Good track and a nice beat. The second to last song is 'Coming Home' This song is laid back with a funk guitar and funky bass. Cool mellow beat. This track has Kuniva from D12 and Rapheal Saadiq.  Bizarre raps about how he's always on the road, and it's hard because his son is growing up without knowing who his daddy is. Another side of Bizarre comes out in this one. And I don't know if I wanted to see it. Haha. The last song on Bizarre's Hannicap Circus is called 'Nuthin' At All'Great beat. At least he had another banger on here to finish the track. This song has all of D12 on it. And they all kill it. I can't decide who did a better job. Like a lot of their other songs, they all bring a quality to the song that is unique. This song is a rough jam that is brutal, violent, and graphic. A great way to end a pretty good album.Overall, I liked this album. A lot. I've always liked Bizarre's personality. And in all truth, this CD could've overdone it with his attitude and personna. But it didn't, it actually gave me a good insight into Bizarre as an artist. This Album is full of good songs with good beats. This CD is definitly worth your money, so go out and buy it if you like D12 and Eminem produced Albums.Don't sleep on this!
