Hallmark.com
Everyone recognizes Hallmark cards, and their website offers the same great sentiments in e-card form. Wishing someone Happy Holidays couldn’t be easier. Christmas cards are separated into genres, such as classic, humor, and religious. There are interactive cards which require the recipient to click on items in the e-card to see an animation. For example, there is a card entitled “Santa Switcheroo” that allows the recipient to play with a Mr. Potato Head Santa face. This would be really fun if you were sending an e-card to children.
Bluemountain.com
This website offers custom cards that you can add a photo album or your voice. There is also a cardmaker, which you choose the theme, music, and animated image for unlimited e-card possibilities. For a really neat e-card, try their talking cards. The animated image speaks the words you type, and you can choose the voice. I really like the talking chimp dressed like Santa. Bluemountain requires you to join to send most cards, but they offer 1 month free.
Americangreetings.com
This website has a very good variety of e-cards to choose from. There are even photo e-cards where you can upload that cute family photo to share. I particularly like their animated e-cards with music. You must register to join this website, but they are currently offering a one month free trial membership. While you are there, you have to check out the Thanksgiving Chin Song e-card. It’s hilarious!
