Jennings Osborne started his own family tradition by granting his daughter's wish and decorated their house with Christmas lights. Every year Jennings would add more lights, eventually adding up to over 4 million lights. Their home town of Little Rock was not so thrilled with the spectacle of lights, and found it to be a nuisance. Soon the court had summoned Jennings Osborne, and he had a court order to take down his daughter's wish. Soon the word got around, and Disney found out that their Little Rock spectacle of lights was shut down. In 1995 Disney asked Jennings Osborne to bring his lights to MGM studio theme park.
