New York City: A Wonderful Place for Shopping for Kid's Clothes

When you think of New York City, you probably think of the high-life - rich people, fancy penthouses, designer clothes and big cars. So, you might be surprised to hear that NYC is actually a great place to buy kid's clothes and for prices that could surprise you. Sure, there are definitely the designer shops but even there, the quality and the style were so amazing, I didn't even mind paying the price. The last time I was in New York, I bought clothes for one of my friend's kids at several different kid's clothing stores. These are the children's clothing stores I shopped at, all of which had an awesome selection of kid's clothes at great prices.

Moschino - 803 Madison Ave, New York, NY - one of the most expensive places to buy children's clothing in New York City is at Moschino. Moschino has beautiful adult designer clothing, but they also sell the most exquisite designer kids' clothing. At Moschino, you can buy your kid designer clothing with a European flair. Coats, jackets, shirts, pants, jeans, t shirts, little bags, girls dresses, they're all available at Moschino in the children's clothing area. Children of the rich and famous, royalty, Hollywood movie stars and even kids of sports celebrities wear Moschino. If you don't mind spending more than $50 for a kid's t shirt, or several hundred for a dress or coat, then Moschino is a cool NYC store to buy kid's clothes.

3.1 Phillip Lim - 115 Mercer St., New York, NY - Lim's line, Kid by Phillip Lim, has some of the cutest designer kid's clothes around. Lovely two-tone dresses, cute shorts, box jackets and pants. All in very simple designs and colors (reds, greys, blues and whites), his kid's clothing is chic yet completely wearable for a rough and tumble kid. Starting at around $50 for a shirt and $70 for a dress, again, not cheap but so fun and chic. Also, check out Barney's New York, as they carry the Kid by Philip Lim line of children's clothing too.
