Dear Diary:

Who am I?

My present state is that I am tired because I
haven't got that much sleep.  I see myself as
someone who is happy for sister, but what
about me?

I am a little anxious to see when will I get
married? I cannot envision my self-perception.

What is my present state?

It is eight thirty in the morning.  I imagine that
it is May, a perfect time of the year for a wedding.
It couldn't be a Saturday, or is it?  I am in a church
building.  I am in Detroit, in the New Center area,
in the waiting room of a church.

My surroundings are a couple of chairs, a phone,
a phone book, a Bible, a wedding dress, and more
items in a box that my sister Tricia will go through.

It is raining outside and I am on my way to the church
for my sister's wedding, and I haven't gotten that much
sleep.  She's panicky and I am nervous.

We reminisce and pray that one day I will find someone
like my sister has found.
