Each year there are more and more people who make outrageous lawsuits against various companies for many times stupid reasons. We all remember a woman suing McDonald's because the hot coffee was well hot. Well this year is no different, we all have probably heard many different weird and out landaus lawsuits being made each day. There is one where a man is suing Zondervan Publishing company because of something that is within the Bible. According to The Grand Rapids Press this man is suing Zondervan and Thomas Nelson Publishing over something the Bible says against homosexuality. Yes you read right Bradley LaShawn Fowler is suing Zondervan Publishing for 60 million dollars and Thomas Nelson Publishing for 10 million dollars. Fowler is representing himself in both cases because a US District Judge already denied to appoint him an attorney in the case against Thomas Nelson. Mr. Fowler is saying because the Bible which is published by both companies refers to homosexuality as a sin, made him an outcast to his family. Mr. Fowler claims the goal of Bible publishing companies is to cause "me or anyone who is a homosexual to endure verbal abuse, discrimination, episodes of hate, and physical violence ... including murder." Just because the Bible speaks against this act doesn't mean that it promotes abuse, discrimination, hate, violence and murder against anyone. In fact it speaks against all of that as well.
