After finding the most effective topical method for reversing baldness and beginning new hair growth, the excitement of watching and waiting for signs of new hair growth begins. While you participate in the regimen for hair growth, you will wonder many times whether the regimen is going to continue to be effective, or eventually trail off and fail like all the other endless regimens for hair growth. This cycle of watching and waiting for new hair growth can take a toll on your self image in relation to the new hair growth. As someone whom has suffered from hair loss and began a regimen for growth, here are the best tips I have found for assessing the effectiveness of my hair growth regimen. During the first week of treatment on your hair regrowth regimen, don't expect all the hair to come back in one week. You didn't lose all your hair in one week, or even one month. Remember that it takes time for the hair to grow, just as it did after a haircut back when you still had all your hair. During the first week of treatment, the main accomplishment will be a sense of cleanliness in the scalp. Your treatment regimen will work to deep clean the pores of the scalp.
At the beginning of the second week of treatment using your hair restoration regimen, you can begin to feel the slightest signs of stubble-like hair growth on the back of your head leading down to the neck. Continue to brush the scalp each day as you follow your regimen as if you had all your hair. A nurtured scalp has the greatest potential to grow new hair.
At the beginning of the third week, you will notice the stubble begins to have a little color to it. Look back on baby pictures or even pictures when you were a toddler and assess your hair color in those pictures. The new hair regrowth will be about the color your hair was when you were a baby, and should have the same soft texture as baby hair. Continue to brush the scalp and hair each day. A nurtured scalp has the greatest potential to grow new hair.
