This is a brief update to my article about Ian Usher the man who was selling his life on ebay.

http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/838933/man_sells_his_life_on_ebay_its_on.html?cat=2

44 year old Ian Usher, of Perth located in Western Australia put his entire life up for sale on ebay. The announcement for the auction was made several months in advance. After Mr. Usher's divorce he decided he would like to begin his life anew, so he placed all of his worldly processions including his home, and vehicles and all of their contents. Usher's plans were to walk away from his life with just his wallet and the clothes on his back. The auction was to start on June 22, 2008 at noon and was to run for 7 days, coming to a close the following Sunday, June, 29th at noon. The auction went on as planned.

The auction began slowly as the first bids were quite low. There were also some fake bids in the beginning, but they were soon found out about. The bidders member names were protected and each bidder was given a number.

Usher had wanted to earn 500,000 for his life. The final bid was a little over $100,000 less than he had wanted, and was not much more than the value of his home. Though he did not get what he was hoping for Usher honored the final bid and walked away from his life as planned.

Now the Usher is free from the burden of processions he now has a list of goals that he wishes to reach. He has a list of goals that he calls 100 Goals for 100 weeks. The list is actually quite organized and lists several different things to do in several different countries. The list includes things such as attending the Festival of the Dead in Mexico, visiting Las Vegas and a couple of other places in the United States. He also wants to sky dive at night, paraglide, and learn to the play the harmonica. Usher would also like to meet Richard Branson.

You can view the entire list of Usher's Goals at:

Whether or not Usher reaches all of his goals in the 100 weeks ahead, I am sure he will have a good time trying.

Wow. It's like his life really did start after his divorce. Wouldn't it be ironic if his wife had left him because he never did much of anything?

List of goals... Isn't it a little late for a "My Name Is Earl" viral?
