Help for Topeka 4-year Old Could Come with Four Paws

I had to post something here to get the word out when I heard about 4 year old J.J. Krentz. Diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome little J.J. suffers from seizures and has to wear a helmet at all times to protect his head. This news brought memories to me of my first nephew wearing a helmet as a

 child because he was always falling down. Later it was determined he had an inner ear problem that was affecting his equilibrium. I consider us lucky compared to what little J.J. and his family is going through.

A benefit concert, dance and auction will be held at 6:30 pm Saturday, July 19 at the Ramada Inn and Convention Center, Downtown Topeka, Kansas. Free will donations will be accepted. The funds will be used to purchase a seizure alert dog from 4 Paws for Ability for little J.J.

4 Paws for Ability was founded by Karen Shirk who is also the Executive Director. Karen believes she is alive today because of a service dog.
